I created Warrior Spirit Wellness, formerly Wilson Therapeutics, as a unique healing space for the community where people suffering from physical or emotional pain have an opportunity to learn how to help themselves. The human body wants to function optimally, and it is possible to become pain free. It is not a quick fix, however, and requires working through limitations slowly over time while simultaneously increasing body awareness.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist, I specialize in injury specific massage and pain relief. I intuitively use a combination of slow deep tissue techniques, myofascial release, medical grade tools for trigger points and scar tissue adhesions, as well as mobility guidance and stretching. I received training at Advanced Massage Therapeutics with a strong focus on injury rehab, and have experience working on a wide range of clients with various ailments.
I discovered my yoga practice after sustaining a severe neck injury...gentle yoga was the only activity that didn't cause intense pain. It took months of slow movement with deliberate focus of sending breath to the areas of pain, but I was eventually able to achieve relief and release inflammation. It IS possible to heal yourself from the inside out with a committed yoga practice.
I teach the importance of body maintenance by taking care of the body's soft tissues through various mobility techniques. Inflammation causes pain, and it gets stuck in the muscles and fascia of the body. I'm available for private sessions to include any combination of massage, personal yoga, mobility guidance, and assisted stretching.

Yoga is a journey to the spirit, and holding a regular practice brings deepened self awareness, self acceptance, and honor.

Kylie started practicing yoga in 2013. Up until then, she had trouble finding a hobby or interest that could keep her attention. She reveled in being able to 'turn off' her thoughts for an hour while focusing on breath and moving through different poses. Her passion and love for the practice continued over the years before she decided to become a teacher in 2019. She has experience teaching a wide variety of yogis from all ages and ability types, and is comfortable teaching different styles of yoga. Kylie believes a yoga journey guides you to listen to the body, observe the thoughts, and appreciate your abilities. It is truly a practice that follows you off the mat and into every day life. Kylie is honored to help you on your journey to strength, confidence, and mindfulness.
If you reach out to us on our social media pages, you will be working with Kylie! She takes care of the marketing, promoting, and updating for Warrior Spirit.
Kylie currently teaches Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 6pm. Kylie can be reached for private sessions through her Instagram:

Ashley earned her Registered Yoga Teacher Certification (RYT200) in April 2019 from The Studio in Georgetown, Kentucky (Yoga Alliance registered yoga school). Ashley has been a student of yoga since 2008 and is forever a student. Ashley has attended workshops on Trauma Informed Yoga as well as Yoga and Spinal Health.
Ashley earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kentucky in 2007, and is currently working towards obtaining her Masters in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation.
